Don't you just love the smell of lemons

It is earlier than we normally pick but as they are dropping off the tree already it was time to harvest. growlcoon was motivated and picked a few bucket loads of Meyer lemons from our tree today. I think these are the best.

You guys have a lemon tree? That lemonade looks pretty good. Kudos to growlcoon for making the lemonade so late in the year. :)

Ah. By the way, there was an earthquake swarm (the strongest was a 5.5) halfway between Mono Lake and Walker Lake earlier today. As far as I know, there aren't too many earthquakes in that area. :S

Bring some lemons to FC! I'll definitely take some. Last year I had to raid a farm in Yuma to get some. That's one of the only things I miss about living in Yuma. I had my own citrus garden with oranges, lemons, limes, and grapefruit. I was dismayed when I drove by last year to see that most of the trees I had planted in the 90's were gone. I was very happy, however, to see a nice big orange tree that had survived dripping with fruit for the current owners.

If some are still good few will bring a box. Always happy to give away lemons rather than let them waste.

Edit:
growlcoon says come pick em. He's tired of being speared by the damn bush's defenses.
