Recently my school has been a little...disorganized. I'm not sure if it's because of all of the budget cutbacks or what, but they really can't seem to decide from one informational page to the next exactly what the dates are for things ( Read more... )

I had something simular happen to me when I was doing online classes at Chabot up here. I laughed a lot at it since I work for a vocational college with strict start and end times. I'm noticing more and more that the for profits have things more organized than the traditional colleges. Gods i'm so glad we got bought and I can get a hugeeee college's classwork for just the cost of books;)

This sort of thing is one of numerous big things that help hold me back from returning and going to more school. I can't stand the endless hoop-jumping, the endless small print, the endless changes to said small print. It seems an unacceptable way to run an organization that you're paying oodles and butt-tons of money to go to..and they /all/ seem run that way. It's like Hitchiker's Guide's beginning.

I don't remember the quote itself, but very roughly:
Aliens - "You've had years to go down to your local galactic library and see the plans for demolishing your planet."
Humans - "But we don't have spaceships that go that far!"
Aliens - "That's not our problem.."
