Somewhat alternate ending/dialogue for 5x06.
"McNally's brilliant..." Sam began, nimble fingers slowly unbuttoning Andy's shirt.
Andy snorted, backhanded slap on his chest. He grinned quickly in response, leaning in as he continued teasingly. "McNally's beautiful..."
This time she laughed, full-bellied, almost kneeing him in the groin. "Shut up."
"McNally's always fun to be with" Sam continued, eyes widening as he tried to escape her knee. He stood back to pull off his shirt before starting to hover over her again.
"Okay, enough" Andy shoved him back before he made it, a little hesitancy creeping in last minute about his injured side. When she was sure he wasn't hurt, she looked back at him. "You're such an idiot" she mumbled, grinning as she leaned in for a kiss.
"Really?" Sam feigned offense, squinting at her. "I say all that and that's what you say?"
"I'm just saying the truth" Andy argued, eyes glinting in amusement.
Sam shook his head, indulging smile on his face, taunting her. "Well it's two truths and a lie McNally."
"So which one of those was a lie, then?" Andy replied, eyes narrowing.
Sam's quick to reply-- "Maybe I don't lie."
It's Andy's turn to snort again. "Uh-huh."
Before she can continue, Sam's pushing her back, hovering above her as he helps her take off her shirt. "I told McNally the whole truth today. And she's still here. In fact, she's here, trying to seduce me."
"Trying? You can do better, Detective" Wrapping her legs around him, Andy tugged him as close as humanly possible. As he tangled his hand in her hair, warm breath over his lips, she cupped his cheek, reclaiming eyecontact "Nowhere else I'd rather be" she promised.
Sam grinned, dimples digging into his cheeks before he captured her lips with his.
