Drabble-writing meme

Reposted from miss_morland:

The first TEN people to comment get to request that I write a drabble of any pairing/character of their choosing (in a fandom I'm familiar with). In return, they have to post this in their journal, regardless of their ability level.

asimov, drabble, around the world in eighty days, btvs, fanfic, meme

Squee!!

Can - can I request more than one?

I would love to see a Lije Bailey/R Daneel Olivaw drabble from you.

Also, since we have been watching Buffy together, I would like a Buffy fanfic from you please! :) Um... I guess a character you've already gotten the full backstory on, so - Giles? Oooh!! Giles/Ethan Rayne?

"Wrong box again. What's all this stuff?"

"Contents of somebody's desk, looks like. Pens... yeah, here's an old picture. Look at that flickering--must be decades old."

"He looks really happy."

"Come on, that's the fakest camera smile I've ever seen."

"No, not him. The other."

"Mr. Perfect-Hair? How do you figure? He's not even trying to smile."

"Still, he looks happy. Their arms around each other's shoulders--that's not just a pose. You can tell they're really good friends. The guy whose desk this was--do you think he knows he left this behind?"

"Maybe he didn't need it."

Ethan is causing trouble again, and in explaining things to Tara, Xander refers to him facetiously as "Giles's old boyfriend."

Giles only says, "Don't be irrelevant," and they all goggle at him.

"Well, I--er... Oh, don't look so scandalised. I'm hardly the only one here who's been in a homosexual relationship--or who's fancied someone who turned out to be evil."

They keep staring.

"Ah. It's because I'm old, isn't it. You lot don't like to think of me as a sexual being at all. . . . I wasn't old then," he mutters, pettishly.

This revelation is apparently even more shocking.

Well, I'd LOVE to see another Around the World in Eighty Days fic from you, unsurprisingly. :-)

"Do you know, Fix, you and I travelled the world together--after a fashion--and yet I do not believe we stopped to take in the sights at any of our destinations? I looked for you in Aden, but you did not even leave the ship."

Fix grinned. "But I did tour Aden--twenty steps behind you! And then there was Salt Lake City, but..."

"No," Passepartout agreed. "I mean together."

"Well, what are we waiting for?" Fix stood up and tossed over Passepartout's hat. "There are people who travel the world just to take in the sights of London."
