Has it really been so long? I mean, I probably haven't posted in months.
Sorry about that.

So on this momentous occasion, the last day of Bush's Presidency I ask you all to reflect.

I realize that the large majority of people reading this journal, or ignoring it (either one really), are probably of a more liberal mindset and can find nothing good

Fix America's image

1. end torture immediately

2. close Guantanamo as fast as possible

3. appoint diplomats interested in engagement with international institutions

4. initiate dialogue with 'evil' states

5. begin compromising, when possible, in international treaty negotiations

Amen to a priori. I would add finding a reasonable solution to immigration problems and creating institutions that could prevent the Wall Street meltdown in the future. Also, it would be nice if we could help people from losing their houses (New New Deal?)
