Time for a Revolution

This post might get long. It's going to be about how I'm going to change my life and start living the life I want to live. It's the first post of the beginning of a long journey. If you want to follow along, hit the cut.

I'm just going to cut to the chase: I'm not living the life I want to live.

Shaun, this post put me in tears. First off: fucking RAH. You wrote this so beautifully, and the passion is so strong and honest and just so, so true. Wow. Just wow.

Secondly, the reason it put me in tears beyond that, is that Jenn and I have been talking about this for weeks. Not on and off as we usually do. I could have written this post (though much less eloquently--it was beautiful), too. I so incredibly agree with you and am in that same place, too.

I look forward to the day when you update from some far away place and write a post very, very different from this. I'll rejoice for you, and hopefully I'll be doing the exact same thing. :) I'm sending love and light to you. You have the drive and determination to do this, I absolutely know it.

Thank you so very much for this inspiration today. :) You rock socks. But I think you already know that. *HUGS*

Thank you. The easy part is saying it. The hard part is putting it into action. It seems alternately so impossible and so impossibly easy. But it's like my parents. They saved and invested and put off seeing the world until they retired. Now that they're retired, the market has tanked and they can't sell their house, so they're having to continue putting things off. I just don't want to end up like that. I'd rather die penniless having lived than keep putting my life off until tomorrow. You and Jenn should come along :)

Wow! I second everything Sarah said~ These words are so powerful and there's no question in my mind that you'll accomplish all you've dreamed of. I wish you so much happiness! *hugs*

Ditto to you too. Hopefully you two will get to be there too. Or at the very least I can come see your beautiful neck of the woods. :)
