I wish people would realize that most people don't care what they got for Christmas, and don't need them shoving all their lovely expensive gifts in their face. It just makes people jealous and feel bad.

ahh, I know what you mean anon. I've definitely been there, this year included. part of me wants to think people do it to show off their new item, or to just brag, especially if they know they're the only ones amongst their friends who owns said item. regardless of the reason, I try to not let it get to me by joking around and stuff, but I do understand being upset about it.

So you've stared down certain doom twice already and lived to tell the tale. You've faced the demons of your dark familial tale, and somehow still managed to come out smelling like roses ( ... )

there's so many powerful statements in this comment, anon.

I'm not positive if some of the stuff mentioned is happening to you right now, or if it's what you're truly going through, but regardless of that, I think that a good handful of people, if not everyone goes through this sort of roller coaster of emotions/thoughts/etc.

and in general, I'm glad you shared this here /cozy ♥

It's funny how you can forget everything except people loving you. Maybe that's why humans find it so hard getting over love affairs. It's not the pain they're getting over, it's the love." (Jellicoe Road)

i think all thease slow shots represent that time never passes.there is no past present or future.even though we know that there was a past from all the ruins. But now everything is stuck in a time that repeats forever.

that first quote is so definitely true. the pain is one thing, but getting over the fact that that person's love will no longer be directed towards you anymore is what kills a lot of people.

another powerful quote. I can definitely see the direction its going in. I'm going to be thinking about it for a bit now too haha

My mother is right before me now, right before you. There as the docent, as the interpreter, maybe even as this strange and tangled countryside. Her shallow face, the dark lyric in her eyes and of course her words, in those far reaching letters she used to send me when I was young, secretly alluding to how she could sit and watch the night seal the dusk, year after year, waiting it out like a cat. Or observe how words themselves can also write. Or even, in her own beautiful, and yes horrifying way, instruct me on how to murder. One day even demonstrate it.

She is here now. She has always been here. "Beware," she might have whispered. "Another holy Other lessens your great hold on slowing time," as she would have described it, being the mad woman that she truly was.
She could have laid this world to waste.
Maybe she still will.

this feels like an intriguing paragraph from a short story.

IDK IF THIS IS THE PURPOSE OR NOT but man. I'm really liking it...
