Robinhood, take X... (as in the variable, not the Roman Numeral)

So... moves over the weekend. *smiles*

last_bastion saw both Ironman and Robinhood... one Saturday, one Sunday... over the course of our lazy do what we want and wake up when we want weekend. We had a good time with Ironman, though both of us agreed that it wasn't as good as the first. Not going to cover that one here as I think enough others will cover it ( Read more... )

Classic stories will inevitably be remade at least once a generation (it is that time, indeed).

This is true. Sometimes, the remakes are better than in others. At least this one wasn't as horrible as the last decade's attempt at King Arthur. There are always small favors. *smiles*

Ugh yes. I assume you mean the one where they're all roman and Merlin and Guinevere are Picts.

Yeah I thought IM2 was good but the first was better. Too much bouncing around and not enough Whiplash. The could have even combined two villains at the end. Painted his armor red and called him Omega Red.
Twilight I have no interest in since day one which is unusual considering my vampire interests.
Inception I'm still up in the air about. I may or may not go and see it.
The Last Airbender looks fantastic and I can't wait for it. I also want to see Jonah Hex. Lot of movies coming out this summer.

Mmmmmmm... I've seen an ad for Jonah Hex. That's one of last_bastion's commonly read comics. It'll be interesting to see how the movie comes out.

Now, in Ironman, its been explained to me that Whiplash was already a combination of two villains. First, the one that everyone recognized, but also another one. Admittedly, though, I've never really read Ironman. I've only kept up with him peripherally because of the Marvel Universe reading I've done over time. *smiles*

Any idea of what the other one was?
