God, this is amazing so far. I love how you leave me hanging at the end. 'then he walked in' gives the perfect mental image of Ian kind of pausing and just watching everything around said 'him' (supposedly Anthony, right?) dims down dark and he just kind of... takes in his appearance and UGH i can't wait for more!
