Thoughts on health.

In recent months I have been trying to increase my overall health. What I have learned is that being healthy takes a lot more work and creativity than being an unhealthy blob. This may seem obvious, but it is the requirement of creativity that has really been the curve ball for me.

And then there is incidental exercise. Walk when you can - up the stairs, to another person in the office instead of phoning/emailing, park/get off the bus further from your destination than usual, even changing the channel on your tv manually instead of using the remote. It all adds up :o)

:) Sounds good. I'm so glad you've finally had time to take time and figure this out!!! :) I accept your challenge-- though for me it won't be as much creativity as returning to a routine (which works for me). I got out of the habit of doing a full yoga session every morning over the past two weeks of "vacation" / mayhem... so my response to your challenge is to try and get in one full session of yoga each morning every day for the next seven weekdays. (Weekends I can't do yoga in the morning--- it will wake people up.) I've figured out that if I start my day off with yoga (about an hour workout before breakfast), I'm more likely to make healthier choices the rest of the day. ::shrug:: If it works...
