Yeah - what is it about House of the Rising Sun? I'm the same way with that song - it just seems to strike a chord (pun intended) with my psyche... not that I've ever worked in a house of ill repute - perhaps in a previous life, when my music hall career hit the skids...

I found him completely by accident one day. Voila! there he was, sitting in the music bin. A friend and I find our Greek music simply by choosing the hottest looking guys on the CD covers. Lame, I know, but it hasn't failed me yet!

That song, the Eagle's Desperado & Hotel California - for some reason those 3- make me sing every time. I must have been some sort of outlaw's girl in another life. (It would explain the fascination for Jason's bad guys, wouldn't it?). Perhaps we were both working in the music hall? haha!

I think it's fascinating the personally diverse music tastes that one can have, and how people you know can be completely ignorant of those tastes- because they put you in little music boxes based on how the perceive you.

I have to admit that I'm still laughing over that Beyonce cover. It's excellent! I'm going to look those guys up.
