And I know, a handicap really doesn't mean a lot more trouble. Cats are strong, and they can very well take care of themselves and easily adapt to a living with their handicap. My cat has bad eyes, I need to clean them every few days, with a little bit of warm water and he can't go outside, that's all. He loves to play, loves to cuddle and I love him loads.
So please don't leave that wonderful cat in the shelter, just because he can't see, misses an ear or walks silly.
