I'm not sure how seriously you're taking club games, but you're making a lot of fancy plays in marginal spots. Not sure they're all sound but whatever :)
Kinda curious what you would've done with Nigel's rack to open, since LIStERS 8b is certainly justifiable. It's not something I'd do very often, but mathematically you can make a case for it. Same goes with aIRLESS and RImLESS to a lesser extent.
Pretty sure that trading with AGNRRUV is standard. x5 makes it more so.
I am taking them pretty seriously because it keeps me playing at a high level for tournaments. I'm not intentionally trying to make fancy plays, but I really thought the UH play made enough sense to try.
With Nigel's rack, I definitely wouldn't have played any of the 8b plays because there's too much chance off an exch. 3. For all he knows, I could be holding the blank, and I have 3 chances to draw whatever hooks I need. Mathematically it might be right, but with a bingo lead I don't wouldn't want that much volatility.
