Oh, I guess I missed this the first time around:

All users now have the ability to edit their comments. While it's not a replacement for the 'preview' button, it allows you to correct mistakes when commenting.

Oddly, though, of the three comments I made on the previous entry, only two show an "edit" button.

Once someone replies to a comment, you can no longer edit it.

I don't really miss the preview comment button that much. But Im really starting to miss the preview entry button. On my community, I do so many code-heavy posts, I like to make sure the codes are actually working as they should and that the format is right before I post. UGG.

I still have a preview entry button! And I'm using one of the original layouts.

Oh, and thanks. Never having had comment editing, I didn't know that about the reply. And this is my first-ever comment edit.
