Sadly, the trunk was gone. This means I am on the look out for a relatively shallow trunk. Ideally, it would fit under my bed. But I'm not sure I can find another one that shallow. I have other places I could feasibly put a trunk though so it's not that big of a deal

I was just remembering a trunk that I had growing up. Sadly, I can't give it to you because my mother still uses it =(

The dimensions could be changed, or you could make the lid a little bit thicker for a secret compartment, or one below where you could still store other things, ya know? Like, putting it at the end of your bed for decorations or something like that. If you're absolutely set on it sliding under your bed, though, it wouldn't be hard to measure for, and I'm sure we could find decorative things to go on the corner edges like a regular drunk. How cool would it be to design one of your own? I might make one for myself and use it as a coffee table....

Heehee...it would be pretty cool to design one myself. I have no place to build here where I am, but we could so build trunks together.

I'm really trying to keep the end of bed free and open for other fun activities...but I do have that little area by the head of my bed that is empty.
