"Free speech advocates say that no harm was done"

The same whiny twits that go 'butbut I waaant to say mean things, why am I not allowed to say mean things you jerk' then.

I get free speech is important but the majority of the times I hear about people advocating for it its whiny privelaged brats lamenting that they can't bully. Oh yeah, and they're always the ones that don't understand that Free Speech applies to, yanno, the government keeping their hands off and not a private site or whatever (And that there's limits, you can't tell me that shouting 'fire' in a crowded theatre is legal).

"sexual advances in a public setting are not and never should be considered illegal"

Ok, no. A billion times NO. Those were not sexual advances. You want sexual advances? Try a wink and suggestive but non-threatening pick-up line while slipping a woman your number. Or saying "Hey, you're cute, wanna go grab lunch together some time?" Hell, I could think of a ton of ways to come on to someone in public, male or female, without threatening RAPE AND MURDER.

I'm sure if someone went to those very cops and told them they're planning on killing them and assaulting their loved ones, an arrest would have been made before they even got to finish talking.

Holy crap, I can't even fathom how that can't be considered illegal and how can you call yourself a Christian and say that sort of crap? I'd be ashamed to be even near that sort of garbage.
