That pipsquak Euram is throwing a fit for who knows what reason. And upon speaking with the young king, he apparently comes from a country where it is common practice to take more than one wife. At least, for the male members of the royal household. King Shams explained it as being little more than a business deal. Still, most men would be thrilled at the idea of having more than one wife, especially if they were all beautiful. Under other circumstances I would admittedly be one of those men but I have Lady Chris. She is the only woman I could possibly need or want.
Lady Chris ...
...

Damn it. Percival saw him disappear and then I found a letter he left behind which made me terribly embarrassed. I don't know how to approach Lady Chris about what happened. Surely she must know by now.

May he rest in peace.
My mood is such now that I need to pay the tavern a visit. Perhaps a bottle of wine will help me sleep tonight.
