i've heard Dreamwidth is a whole lot of fanfic type stuff. Not nearly the kind of community as lj. It's too bad they can't sell the company to someone that will actually take precautions against this crap. i've had lj since 2003 and i've never seen so much down time until recent.

That is what bothers me. After seeing the alien game just shutdown, LJ could just stop. I rather go somewhere that is stable.
