Uhhh, read anything Stan Lee's done recently. In the Ultimate Series' he's expanding his mediums and universes. He doesn't like to keep the same shit happening over and over again. It wasn't anti-climactic, you just missed the climax because you were too busy crying about how Gambit wasn't in the movie.
