Do you ever have a feeling that someone totally unrelated to you - even unknown to you thinks like you?! I saw this and was blown away. Well, maybe i am exagerating about feeling that this guy thinlks like me. I could never have really written such a "masterpiece"!

Maybe if he had gone to a boisterous gin joint he would find
all sorts of drunks coming over to talk.

Anyway there is always the fear of getting to know
the wrong kind of people, the kind who will stalk you
and make your life miserable.

What we need is a good way to make a quick background check on
the folks around you before you sit down to lunch.

It may be possible with the new phones with bluetooth.
Ex if you are looking for someone to chat with your phone keeps
broadcasting and if it sees and phone with a similar prefrence
it can match you up.

Such dating services are probably available somewhere.

Such services already exist and are famous in Japan; a notable reticient and aloof society.

Whats more interesting in this piece is that rsm is going to consume calamari and shrimp soon :))

If you eating seafood for the first time be
sure to keep some antihistamines with you.
Recently I decided to try some thai shrimp curry
(Nice yellow stuff, the shrimp i dislike though)
and my face went red and itchy.
Luckily i had some avil and a few pills later all was well.

The engineer in you beats the shit out of the philosopher in you. Next thing you know, technology will be deciding what we should watch (bluetooth phone talking to bluetooth tv) on TV.

Very nice read. I think one of the reasons people don't do anything is because they're afraid of change. It's more like "I've got enought stuff to deal with anyway, why should I add more things to my plate". It reminds me of the opening lines of Eminem's song for 8 Mile: "If you had one chance, one shot, one opportunity to seize everything you've always wanted, would you grab it? Or would you let it slip by?" Good question. It's a bit unsettling to leave your thorougly familiar life with its all-too-familiar aspects (including the problems too) and explore unknown territories.
