Okay, first off, "Run For Your Wife" opened this past weekend to very receptive audiences. They were laughing so much, you'd think the Joker had attacked. We still have two weekends to go, so here is the info in case you missed it.
Run For Your Wife is a (empirically confirmed) hilarious 1980's British farce about John Smith, a London cab driver who is married to two women, and has managed to keep things separate until this one fateful morning. The police get involved, and Mr. Smith keeps trying to pile on more bullcrap to hide his guilty secret.
Performances are Jan 22, 23, 29, and 30 at 8pm, Jan 23 matinee at 1pm. Tickets are $14, $11 for military/students/seniors, and $10 for groups of 10+ as well as the matinee. It is in the auditorium of the Dr. A.J. Ferlazzo Building, 15941 Donald Curtis Drive, Woodbridge, VA 22191. You can reserve tickets online here:
http://www.castawaystheatre.org/tickets_reservations.html, but you pay for them at the door with cash or check (sorry, no credit cards).
Secondly, I will be in Fauquier Community Theatre's production of "The Musical Comedy Murders of the 1940's." I am playing Eddie, the struggling comic and unlikely hero and romantic lead of the play. Yes, I am in a romantic lead; this will probably not happen again until maybe I'm old enough to do "Lion In Winter." Since this is supposed to be a bit younger of a role, I have agreed to dye the gray out of my hair (I believe it was brown if I recall correctly). I am also hoping to drop some more weight before we open (more on this in another post). So, the novelty of my hair color alone should make you want to see it, right?
Performances are Feb 26, 27, Mar 5, 6, 12, and 13 at 8pm; and Feb 28, Mar 7, and 14 at 2pm. It will be at Fauquier Community Theatre's theater, 4225 Aiken Dr, Warrenton, VA 20187. Tickets are $15, $13 for students/seniors. Tickets can be bought online here:

Hope to see you there!
