I was searching for information on this case because my Dad has been talking about Mary Jane's death and all that has recently been done to solve it (I currently live in Green Bay. I remember growing up in Oregon, hearing stories about how the "backbone" was sacred grounds for the Indians and also, that it was haunted! I only travelled it once and it was in daylight and I was still scared!
You should submit this as a short story for a magazine!!
