It wasn't going to be held next year September, because that was inconvenient for my Step-Dad now that his paid-vacation contract has run out, but because my brother and his wife are in medical professions and don't want to get stationed in different parts of the South Africa (don't ask, it's a complicated system), they decided to hold the wedding next year September. Problem is, thats when I have university, and the plane tickets are extremely expensive (it's 3 plane trips to, and ditto for return. 6 plane flights, and 3 people flying...it doesn't come cheap.

But the fact that they didn't even acknowledge me on the invite...just.... ow.

It wasn't a vindictive decision. I just wasn't invited.

My folks never talk abut me with pride. My mom has stated on multiple occasions that I've never made her proud. At all. They both treat me like a nuisance. I get yelled at on an hourly basis, if I'm stupid enough to leave my room.

My brother Warren (one getting married) is considered the talented one, and Garreth (already married) is the successful, hard working intelligent one.

I'm the lazy useless one. I know it's my own fault, but god damn. All I ever get is "Look at Warren, he has a Masters in Psychology! He's hardworking!"

And they wonder why I won't listen to them and want nothing to do with this family...
