It is kind of surreal, when I pause to consider it, that I will be leaving for four years in ten days. It's harder than I thought- packing and the like, plus burning bridges with people who, at one point I considered that I could never live without. It is a bittersweet time

You know what's worse, doing it twoce, once for college, and once for Basic. I know what you mean, but you'll forge new bridges, just don't do yourself like I did, and possibly have to go back and desmantle them as well.

You're better at the whole school thing than I am, so you shouldn't have any problems.
