Hospital Drama and Bravery

When people hear about all the medical issues I have and what I do every day, the first thing they often say is how brave I am. But I'm not brave. Bravery usually means that someone made a concious decision to stand up and fight back against the odds. I'm not brave, I'm just out of options ( Read more... )

I've always known that things like that don't really mean you're brave.

but the fact that you keep going does mean you're strong.

As for me... you can call me whenever you want or choose... even in the middle of the night... I will be there to talk to you...

you might not be brave but i can say you are strong. beating the odds and still moving on with each passing day. don't doubt yourself. your family will be there for you to give you the strength you need to get by and same with your friends too. don't be afraid, stay strong!
