Man, I labored on a sculpture all semester long only to have the mold and the sculpture be destroyed, le sigh. Did it work out for you?

As of yet I haven't cast it yet. >.> I'm pretty worried about it... I don't think it would survive.

That's a sad thing to hear about your sculpture... What was it? Did you take pictures?

it was an abstract piece based off of my face, and I didn't get to take pictures because I didnt have my camera yet. :( It was really intricate, I guess it was my fault for going over the top.

Indeed, that is very awesome. How big is it? It's hard to tell from the photos.

I have to cast it in plaster first - I can't paint the raw clay, and I wouldn't want to paint it if it were cast in metal. :/

Wow, that is fabulous, what is it made out of?

It's just crappy scrap clay at the moment - a mixture of several different clays, chunks of plaster, and probably dust and dirt from the floor or something. Rendering it totally unfirable! Rats. Hopefully eventually I can make a replica of it in plaster or...um... something cool. >.>;
