prompt 'That's it then,' Blaine thought. It's one thing seeing your boyfriend kissing another guy but its another thing seeing him naked with the guy. In bed. In their shared apartment. That was all kinds of hell. It was the right thing for him to end it right there and then. No regrets. But only one though, he thought as he rubbed his 21 weeks belly. He's gonna be a single father.

Going through pregnancy alone it's not as easy as he thought. There were days he thought of giving it all up. There were days he just wants to curl up into a ball, under the covers and cry his guts out. But there are some days, he'll be happy, all fluff and rainbows as he thought odd the end product. He's gonna have a child to share his love with. Somebody there to keep him happy during his dark days.
Living alone and feeding for two was a feat, to say the least. But he managed. The labour was hard on him. But he managed. Sitting on his hospital bed, with a beautiful baby boy cradled in his arm, he thought of being the luckiest guy to ever live even though his son's other father isn't present in his life. Cooing non-sensical blabber to his newborn son, he can't help but smile. This child was his to love. But there was one thing that struck out amongst everything else; he thought as he looked at his son's bright blue eyes and straight brunette hair, he looks so much like him.

Zachary James Anderson grew up to be a fine young boy. He made his Papa proud every way he can. He made sure to colour within the pictures with his crayon. He made sure to give his Papa kisses every time his Papa comes home from work or just looks very sad. Papa kept saying he looks so much like his other father, but Zachary don't mind at all 'cause all he needs was his Papa to make it all okay. Zachary loves it when Papa read to him a story at night, before bedtime, 'cause Papa would make these weird noises when he tells the story. Sometimes, Aunt 'Tana tucks him into bed if Papa haven't come home from work yet. But that's okay 'cause Papa is always tired when he comes home but he makes up for it by making his favourite choc'o'chips pancakes with lotsa lotsa syrup!
Every time Zachary would want to sleep next to his Papa at night after a bad nightmare 'bout monsters, Zachary would see this picture on his Papa's bedside table. Zachary knew that, that was his other father with his Papa. Papa looks so happy but Papa told Zachary that he's much more happier now that Zachary was in his life. But Zachary can't help to stare at the picture; he looks so much like his other father.

Blaine loves his son with all his might. He works hard to support his child as being a single father is hard work. But it's all worth it, as he tells himself every time he thought of giving up. Everyday his son grew to an exact replica of Kurt. His determination and perseverance, his love for the ones he cares about, his taste in clothes and that little eyebrow quirk whenever he does something silly in front of his son. But there is this nagging feeling in the pit of stomach every time he looked at his son. The thought of having his son, one parent less kills him.
"Zach," Blaine said as he cuddled closer with his son on the couch, watching The little Mermaid, "Do you ever want to meet your other father?"
"Why are you asking me this, Papa?," asked the four year old, looking up boring his blue eyes into his hazel orbs.
"I don't know. I feel like you're missing something important in your life. And I can't help to feel guilty about it, sweetheart," Blaine finally said after a few moment of silence, only Part of Your World playing in the background.
"I'm not missing on anything, Papa"
"But don't you want to even meet his side of the family? You always asked me why you have no grandparents. You only got me and Aunt 'Tana. Don't you want to know anybody else?" Blaine knew this was a heavy topic between father and son. But he wants his son to know a life outside his godmother, Santana, and himself.
"No Papa," Zach said with such finality for a four year old, “I’ve gotten all the family I have here. With you and Aunt 'Tana, that's the family I'll ever need, Papa."
Blaine looked down at his son saying those words with such conviction for a four year old. He can't help but be proud of him. He smiled, and then laughs as he grabbed his son, lifting him so that he was on his lap, peppering kisses all over his little face. "You my boy, are too smart for your own good. D'you know that? I love you, Zachy"
"Papa, Papa, stop it!" His son laughed as he pulled away from the kisses, placing one final kiss the nose. Zach kissed his Papa's nose too before climbing off his lap and trudging towards the kitchen. "I love you too, Papa. C'mon Papa, I want me some more choc'o'chips pancakes before you're gonna make me watch more Disney movies."
Blaine laughed as he stood from the couch, pausing the movie and heading towards the kitchen.
He was his son all right. And he never regretted conceiving him one bit. He might've needed to thank Kurt some day but that's a story for some other time. For now, he's happy where he is with son. Although his son might look like Kurt, but his heart was all Blaine's. Being a single father sometimes do have it's perks.
