My last entry got me thinking about misheard lyrics. One of my cousins had one that has always mystified me - Madonna's "La Isla Bonita" starts out:

"Take these broken wings" the part where he says "the book of love will open up and let us in" I always thought was "the book of Buffalo Bill Up will let us in." I dunno, I always wondered what the hell that was supposed to mean.
Also "Eminence Front" by The Who (or Pete Townsend, I forget) always sounded like "Livin' in the butt". Seriously.
Oh yeah and "blinded by the light. wrapped up like a douche you know the roller in the night."

i had remembered another of mine some days ago but cannot recall it now.
i do remember one a couple friends mentioned years ago. i think it's "Murderous" by Nitzer Ebb. instead of "Shout, don't shout" they'd heard "Shop, donut shop" - which [i think] is just ridiculously funny if you know the song.
