Just popped in to say a few things about Pirates of the Carribean.
I enjoyed it. Although I had to turn away from the ick a wee bit often for my taste.

It's funny. Before we went to see the movie, Cody made a few minor comparisons to Star Wars, in broad production-and-popularity-related concerns. Then, as we left, he said. "My analogy was much stronger than I thought. They even froze Han in carbonite"
Okay, physically speaking, I didn't understand what my sister saw in Jack Davenport until tonight.
Oh, and the extended Will/Jack/Norrington threeway was lovely.

In other news, have finally finally started work. Have found they are forced to take almost as long doing everything else as they take to hire people. Am already developing repetitive-stress injuries. But this week will pay for the doctor's appointment I just had, next week will pay for July's homeowner's fees...yay for money.
