I read Kevin Smith's "Quiver" run on Green Arrow today. In the preface, it's mentioned that a lot of people criticized it for being too mired in Green Arrow continuity. Those people said it should've been written so that no one would need to know any character / universe history. It's something a lot of comic writers are doing these days: Ignore ( Read more... )

I liked Quiver. It was by far not the best GA I've read, but I give Smith a B+ for effort.

Afraid not. Maybe some spam filter ate it or something. I don't see it.

Oh, I'm sure it's not the best GA out there, but clearly using continuity isn't as problematic as some people think.
