Hey Kate; we're sorry we missed you when we were in Louisiana. I didn't get your message until we were headed through Jackson on the way back to Atlanta (at 1 in the morning) because I forgot my cellphone in Kentwood the night of the New Orleans trip. We will be back in the area on the weekend of the sixteenth of September; Q's cousin Rusty is participating in a concert thingy in Amite on the sixteenth (he convinced his boss at the coffee shop to sponsor it), so we've promised to come to that. He'll actually be playing an acoustic set in the coffee shop, but there's an outside stage, too. Would you and Cody like to meet up for that?

Also, don't worry about your thesis slackery; when I wrote my thesis for Scholars' College, I spent about three months avoiding it myself, and I've taken a month off from it this time around again. I really need to write my prospectus...so as you can see, you're not alone. Everybody is not prepared, and if they tell you they are, they just don't want to look bad.
