And it's true; you can't be alone all the ( Read more... )

I listen to your music.
And now read your thoughts on here.

Your thoughts on Idolatry remind me of a Modest Mouse song.
It also makes me think of Sartre. And free will.

Anyway. Your song telling the story of Moses as a barber of sorts is quite brilliant.

Would the story have changed if the dream was about Elijah?

1. Who are you? Should I know you?

2. Which Modest Mouse song?

3. Elijah would have a lot more to do with the coming of the Messiah. Moses is someone who you have to remember is not God, and also someone who is admirable because he looked at himself as an Egyptian prince and came to see a Jew, one of the oppressed. And also he saw the burning bush and the miracle was not that it was not consumed but rather that he watched it long enough to know that it was not consumed.

The dream of Moses had nothing to teach me except that the truth does not come in dreams, it comes in life. Elijah would probably teach me that the Messiah will not come from the sky, but from people.

You sure know how to hear a song. You ain't reading too much in. Read even more in.

The problem with the song, if you ask me, is the refrain of "You people are singing to me"-- it's off. I'm trying to change it.
