I wandered lonely as cloud.... but that's as far as the similarities between me and Wordworth's poem go, because I haven't yet found any golden daffodils to brighten up my days

I can't say I know what you're going through, but when times get rough and you feel stuck or like things are moving too slowly, try to enjoy whatever you can. When I moved up here (Davis) I just wanted to go back home and 9 months of a school year seemed like such a long time, but now I am trying to look at this time as an opportunity to have new experiences. I swear there's no Zoloft behind my optimism...it's just that when you sit down and try to calculate how long it's going to take you to get to a certain point in your life, time passes slowly. Try to enjoy the little things... have fun with your friends and it will go by faster. And you're not a loser!! You're going to be a great doctor and a great father too (anyone that can find humor in a bch class has to be an amazing person) =)

Yo Rahul,
It's just the stress talking. Ride it out like you have done before. Things will improve soon. After you become an MD, I guess you can decide what you want to do with yourself and live life the way you want it. Golden daffodils are probably just waiting around the corner for you to discover.
