Poor Bruce :) Those dinner parties are such hard work. But having such a willing pillow makes it all better.

Awww, this is so sweet! But poor exhausted!Bruce! *pets him* I'm sure Clark will look after him. ;)

I really like the way that Bruce has obviously just... fallen in and collapsed onto Clark. For some reason I keep staring at the his hand that's fallen down. The look on Clark's face is lovely, too. :)

He can sleep feeling safe because he has Clark. X) And Clark is more than happy to know it, as if it's a gift for him. :)

I thought Bruce's elbow would be strained if he kept his arm like that. But he had Clark, so it would be okay. (I tend to wonder too much things while I draw, lol.)

Poor Prince! Parties can be SO exhausting! ;)

I love this! I love the warm glow of the lamplight and the cozy atmosphere of the library. The books, couch and carpet are wonderful background!

Bruce trusts Clark completely and Clark's little smile is perfect. And there's the promise of a present to be opened! :)

Shall Clark waken Sleeping Beauty with a kiss? ;)

The parties where Gotham's prince needed, yes. ;)
It took time to make the background (especially the books, ugh, lol,) so I'm really glad you enjoyed it. And I'm also glad that you saw his trusts in this pic, that was the part I wanted to draw in this.
This Sleeping Beauty will open his eyes after he takes good nap (and will do energetic things with him. ;) ) Until then Clark just relish the serene moment and the trust he's given. :)

This is really sweet. The bowtie and cummerbund are a nice touch. My favorite part is the window and snow. It's like we are looking in on a tender moment.

I completely forgot February 19 is Bruce's birthday. Happy Birthday, Bruce.

I still have no idea how an untied bowtie becomes tied one after i looked for the images of them. lol. I have a thing for tuxedo and I'm glad you liked those details. And I'm also glad that window and snow worked well for you. :)

It's funny, as much as I love the second version, because of the closer view and all the extra details, I adore that glimpse of them through the window!

Either version, the cozy sense of intimacy is just lovely, and I hope Bruce enjoys the rest of his birthday after his nap.
