In Which Our Heroine Is Reading...

So, when I've little else to do, I read. A lot. I've read 25216 pages, including manga and graphic novels, thus far this summer. That comes out to a total of 95 books thus far.

5561 pages (20 books) on a King Arthur kick that's been going for about a week now. Eleven of those books are by William's dad (I did begin to feel guilty when I met a published author who had read more of my work than I had of his...). Now I'm on to more classic books like Chretien de Troyes and Malory. I'm trying to save Tennyson's Idylls of the King for last because it IS my favorite. I'm not sure when I'm going to run out of steam on this one, but some of the texts I've opted to read are making me think MYSELF mad. I'm going for The Mabinogion, even, which is simply insane. And I need to order the HRB... Essentially, I am on a serious kick, and I've no idea when it will end.

Anywho, other projects include re-reading most of my bookshelf in order to clean out its contents. Some of the books are good, but others have been added to the "I won't read again, donate it" pile.

In addition to reading, I'm doing a bit of writing and a bunch of crafting. William and I are finishing up our sonnet war (NOT on facebook this time, to avoid shipper commentary and encourage editing between the two of us). I'm rewriting my story from Creative writing. I'm working on my senior paper.

I'm gonna be a busy girl.
