I loved the green lizard - that was amazing. I felt the action had a visceral thrill, but it came at the cost of characterisation. Anakin's 'turning' scene made some of the audience I was with burst out laughing...such an incredibly important moment required a close-up and physical expression to show anguish, not overwrought dialogue and histrionics.

I liked the green lizard too, actually. I was very worried for it when it got hit by the clone troopers and fell into the water. It lived, right? Right? ::worries about giant lizard::

"Overwrought dialogue and histrionics" is a very good term to use. A friend of mine says she kept on wanting to burst out loud during Anakin's turning scene, and the Yoda battle scene, which to her looked just ridiculous.

I liked the turning scene myself, but kept on going, "Oh, come on!!!" throughout the whole scene. What a waste.

Kingdom of Heaven, eh? I loooove Liam Neeson, but now all of a sudden I'm sick and tired of Orlando Bloom. I think I've been supersaturated with his unbearable prettiness. There are these huge, huge, HUGE posters of Orlando Bloom in KoH hanging from this building right where I work, and after a week of seeing his two-story face, I've gotten sick of him. Hmmm.

Still, would you recommend it? I might see it, if you think it's worth it...
