It was good, wasn't it? I felt like Changes was all about breaking Harry down, stripping everything away from him. This book was about bringing him back to who he is, making him realize that, for all he's done wrong, he's still one of the good guys. He made that choice as a terrified teenaged boy faced with a demon, and he's never taken it back. I can't wait to see what happens next.
Thats a good way of putting it, and I think you're right. Harry needs to realize these things before he goes off to be a part of Mab's court, where he'll face all these new challenges and choices - and he has to be okay with the ones he already made to do that.
I also loved the end where we learn that Maggie will be raised by the Carpenter's. That makes me so happy! I really feared we'd lose her as a character until she came back when she was older. As it is, I don't know how long it'll be, timewise, until we see her or anyone else again, but at least we know she's in good hands :)
