OUT OF CHARACTER
Backtagging Absolutely. Living in a vastly different timezone from most players makes it a necessity. If a thread has been left for a few days and I've not responded, and you'd like to finish things up, just prod me. Likelihood is I looked at it one evening before sleeping and then consequently forgot about it.
Threadjacking/threadhopping Usually, yes. If it's a reserved log between two characters then it probably would be best to ask. Likewise with particularly heavy 'filtered' threads between characters. But, as general, yes.
Fourthwalling Does anyone know his canon? No.
Offensive subjects Rape, excessive gore/torture/horror themes I don't watch horror movies or play survival horror games for a reason, so I'm not interested in roleplaying plots with them, either. Otherwise I'm mostly game. If it's something risque just ask. It's better than to make me jump at you.
DAMAGE CONTROL
Picking a fight with this character Sure, people do that all the time! Well, one person, but. If you fight him, Izumi's likely not to fight back at first, he'll just dodge, run rings around you, and so on, until you get tired. In reality he's more likely to fight you verbally. He will run if he gets bored or feels he is out of his depth.
How much damage this character will take Izumi's not stupid and he knows his limits. Which are quite low. If you do manage to get to hit him, he'll probably fall back rather quickly. He's not that strong and he hasn't got the stamina.
Extent of maiming/other crippling loss I'd rather you clear this up beforehand. Knocking him out is fine. Cuts, bruises, wounds etc. are fine. Izumi's a special case because he's already "dead" per-say so it'd be best to discuss it beyond this level.
ABILITIES-RELATED
Using telepathic or mind-reading abilities on this character Izumi's very good with blocking out what he doesn't want to think about himself, so if you did try, it'd be hard to learn anything. But I'm open to you giving it a try.
Trying to control this character through any means Mind control will work. It happens to him in canon. Controlling him through his memories will also work. They're a painful yet precious attribute.
Other things to note Nothing I can think of off-hand.
RELATIONS
Hugging You can try...?
Flirting I'm a cool cookie with this. Izumi may not. Or he may be. He may actually flirt back at you if you flirt with him but it's not likely to go anywhere beyond that.
Kissing and/or other intimate actions Mostly no. It's case by case. Discuss it with me for this. Some kisses mean something, some don't. Some involve taking other people's souls! Which he tries to do in-canon, but don't worry, he can't do that here.
Relationships I'm... going to say no, but, if things really really really develop that way, then I'll consider it. He might also go for something "fake". However his one true love is Mereko, so unless you're here, you're not getting the full package.
GENERAL
What not to mention around this character Suicide. Just. Don't. (That means you can, by the way. But it's a touchy subject. He may be honest, he may not be. And it may mean goodbye thread on his end.)
Also, as an afterthought. I doubt it'll come up here, but due to his past, I'd prefer you not mentioning about domestic or child abuse. It'll really close him up and as a mun I'm only comfortable with not getting too in-depth with it.
INFORMATION
How competent this character is in battle He's never fought a proper battle before, however, he's effectively the grim reaper.
Strengths/abilities He has a huge scythe, so he has a wide range. He's agile and quick, and tends to plan ahead. It's typically for Izumi to be one step ahead in pretty much everything he does. It's rather hard to keep up with him if he's got his head in the game.
Physical endurance It's now necessarily low, but it's not high. Since he's fast, he's difficult to hit, but if you get him, it is quite low.
Magical resistance Mediocre. Most of his abilities are magically based, so, his resistance to magic probably exists.
MISCELLANEOUS
Izumi can transform into a cute little doggy plushie. It's unlikely he'll choose this of his own free will, but I'm open to you forcing him into it or him being exhausted enough to change into it. Just throw it by me.
