Six hours later, I picked up (with a broom handle) the plastic bag (not sealed) containing the supposedly dead possum and lo, it still seemed dead. If it was playing, it's going to be playing all the way to the dump

You know, my band is playing Artomatic tonight at 7pm. I think that's a good reason to go. :)

It is crazy! Everybody who is performing anything at artomatic appears to be doing it tonight. It couldn't be spread out a bit more?

But if it were all spread out, I'd be whining about having to go there every single night for the next month. There's just no pleasing me ;)

The real reason is that even though Artomatic is over a month long, like any other "Art Opening" thing, 95% of the people who are going to come only show up when there is a party with booze. So everyone who wants to be seen tries to arrange to be there during that time frame.

The rest of the time, the gallery is open and there are a few souls who sit there and actually walk around and look at art.

I think that you should power nap.

And then go!

And then run off with the cool kids until the wee hours (especially since we, cool or not, won't be there until a bit on the latish side).

And then we can kidnap you . . . and hopefully NOT get confused for an animal corpse.
