Garden club president sent me an email last night at 8:40pm saying that if I could make out a check and bring it to the meeting tonight, that would be great. Um, what? Less than 24 hours notice? Are you kidding me

Apparently one of the former treasurers published a notice in the newsletter that you need to allow one week for check processing. I'm starting to think that's not such a bad idea.
