Fabulously, the library has a copy of The Hedgehog's Dilemma and colinmac, recognizing its status as required reading, rushed it home to me. OMG hedgehogs! It makes me want to plant a bunch of hedges in the wild, vain hope that we will spontaneously develop some native hedgehogs. A girl can dream, right?

Ha! That's a cute one. But it doesn't seem to be native and or inclined to eat slugs, so I don't know.

My garden is slowly but surely becoming infested with little fake hedgehogs. Better than nothing!
