I made it home safe and sound (after a nap at the welcome to Wisconsin rest stop) and took a shower and now I'm going to bed so I'll actually be able to function at work this afternoon.

I started my new position at work yesterday and I already like it 100% more than my old position. Getting up at 4am is totally worth it.

Last night I saw Empires at Reggie's with the Chicago branch of the internet. We stood stage left this time so I was able to see up close that Max is a fucking excellent guitarist.
