I just absolutely enjoyed watching Mamma Mia tonight.

A night out with the girls - it was wonderful. And yes, I have to admit, I was totally dancing to "Dancing Queen". ;). Many of you would too (although some of you may not want to admit it).

Couldn't bring myself to go to it.... even though I was an ABBA girl rather than a BAY CITY ROLLERS girl in late-primary-school. (I think the bay city rollers were for the girls with an inkling of boymad in them)

ABBA rocks! Did you know that Australia is the country where ABBA was biggest next to their home nation of Sweden, likewise Australia and Sweden are the two biggest readers of Phantom comics. I don't know if there is a connection.
Look to 'Priscilla Queen of the Desert', 'Muriels Wedding' and the fact that Mamma Mia started it's world wide tour off in, yes you guested it the land of Oz.

Ah...a man that can admit to liking ABBA! This is wonderful!

I was a little disappointed that Fernando wasn't in the musical.

yeh by inverse logic, men can admit to liking ABBA in Australia and not be gay.

Question for you...how far is OZ from NZ? I guess in terms of flight time.

I was thinking of taking a trip to NZ to do some rock climbing (do you rock climb?), and then stopping by OZ either on the way there or on the way back.

Good to hear that it's okay for the men of OZ to like ABBA and not get funny looks. *LOL*

How funny this is! I'm going to Mama Mia next Sunday. Will report back after. I heard "Fernando" was in it, but only through someone humming or something. I'll let you know as I watch for it specifically... :-)

I have the ABBA gold cd in the house and get a kick out of listening to it now and again... There, I said it! And I'm comfortably hetero! Take that, stereotypers!!

I have ABBA Gold too! Actually, it was my friend's and I enjoyed listening to it so much that she gave it to me because she said that I loved it more than she did ;).

I really would love to hear your comments on the musical :)
