I’ve never really slowed down enough to really pay attention to raspberries. Yes, I know they’re good, but I thought of myself as more of a strawberry kind of girl. We have raspberry bushes growing in our backyard, one of my most favorite things to do in the late summer is to go out at sunset and pick a cupful after dinner, they are plump and warmed from the sun. I rinse them off under our spigot and eat them on our back deck whilte watching the sunset.

We used to take them off the bushes that was growing wild around my house in Ireland.
As the mellow celtic sun sank into the distance, and our mouths were covered and stained with raspberry red.
