A few weeks ago I was getting ready to go out and run some errands when I discovered that my purse was full of random items from around my house. They were all things that would take effort to find and remove from wherever they were, and my purse was crammed full of them. I'm not sure if this is a call the cops situation, but you defintiely need to get your locks changed.

Ah. Definitely contact the landlady then? "Yo, my door be circumventable" and whatnot?

Yup. Because the only other explanations are:

You did this while sleepwalking.

The landlady or someone with access to her set of keys opened your door, straightened your keys on the hook, and then left.

I do remember hearing a noise right before- it woke me up actually. All in all, mildly terrifying, and I don't want to leave my house unguarded.

I do recommend calling the cops--home intrusions always have the potential for escalation, and considering this is the work of someone who's intruded on your home at least twice that you know of, you really do need to talk to authorities. DEFINITELY change your locks ASAP.

I don't think that the purse thing was related (mostly it was just another Weird Thing that happened here) but yeah. THIS is creepy and not cool. I've fired off an email saying WTF WTF WTF HELP to my landlady, and am staying home until I figure something out.
