help me identify a plant?

I have a series of plants just in front of some blackberry brambles that I've been fighthing. They resemble blackberry bushes that are just starting up, a little less than a foot tall with similar leaves. Is this it? Large-leaved avens is a native weedy species. It's a rose relative like blackberry, which is why the leaves and flowers look similar. In the fall, it makes fragile little burrs which will get stuck on your clothes and in your pet's fur, if you have one. They are a minor annoyance, not worth fighting.

Thanks! That might be right. I'll have to compare when I'm home. If the avens aren't too aggressive, I'll probably just let them be. I'll take anything over dandelions and blackberry brambles.
