I'm considering disconnecting one (or more) of our downspouts and putting in a swale and rain garden in the next few weeks. Has anyone done this before? If so, I'd love to hear about the process, and I'd love to see photos.

I'd love to hear about it, too. We love our rainbarrels, but do have some soggy spots that turn into lakes in heavy rain, and it would be great to just make that a swale to add to, or just on it's own when weather comes down. =)
