So I decided that I wanted to post up my picture. It's because...

I am incredibly vain.

Ha, so there. And also, I promised Helen. Haha

So this picture is the first picture I ever took of myself. I took it with my webcam, which is why I'm not even looking at the camera. Ah, I was 13 or 14. I was so young.... so skinny... so self-conscious.

You're so pretty! And you totally suit glasses. I need glasses, but they just look bad on me -.- Haha, I adore the Spongebob window stickers in the first pic.

Haha, is it weird that I resent my 13 year old self for not appreciating how nice it was to be thin? I'm so much podgier now XP

Oh wow, your comment has made me so proud. I don't think I've ever thought of myself as so pretty. The spongebob window sticker were the best. I don't live there anymore, so the stickers are gone, too. :(

I remember I saw your pictures and I thought you were incredibly pretty. You have this natural, European attractiveness.

Somehow I think you were like me at 13: Insecure and hoping I would get better looking. Now I'm older and worse looking? Haha. But at least my writing improved vastly.

Thank you so much! I seriously just got embarrassed. I'm quite easily embarrassed, so that's not all that unusual XD

I was exactly like you at 13. Deep down, I'm still hoping the same thing XD But actually, if it was between getting better looking and becoming a better writer, I'd choose the last one. If you can get as rich and famous as JK Rowling through superb writing, who needs beauty? XD

Haha, do you ever read over what you wrote when you were younger? I used to write Harry Potter fanfic a lot. I read this Tonks and Lupin one I wrote when I was about 12... I cringed so bad. This was pretty much the plot:

Tonks tells Lupin she wants to be his girlfriend. Lupin says he's too dangerous. Tonks runs off, upset. Lupin changes his mind for no apparent reason. They get together, and there is no kissing, because I was 12, at that age where I still thought kissing was slightly icky XD

So yeah, fail. Said story was promptly deleted to prevent any further embarrassment. XP

Well, I would think it over a bit... Beauty or writing? Ha, if I could be as famous and talented as JK Rowling, I would choose writing hands down. Writing is so much more impressive than beauty ( ... )
