[The feed starts abruptly, likely a result of a rather sudden awakening and a few moments of stumbling about.]

-I end up dead?

Right. Guess it wouldn’t be.

[A pause, followed by the sound of his footsteps crunching on pavement as he starts walking around the outskirts of town, observing the others as they go about their business

[Nill's only been in Luceti for a day, but she's picking up on the basics pretty quickly. She has clothes, a nice little corner to sleep in, and now she's working on getting herself something to eat. Fortunately, she managed to convince the Bishop to let her use the stove after so much takeout.]

[So she's walking back with a bag in her arms, trying to find the landmarks she tried to memorize in order to get back to the empty apartment she's staying in and failing a little. But that's okay--because she recognizes someone, finally.]

[Nill nearly drops the bag, but she manages to hang onto it as she runs up to Haine. He looks upset. Did he just wake up in the street too?]

[It's strange how the tension building inside him seems to ebb when he catches sight of the girl. The set of his shoulders, the hard look in his eyes change in ways barely discernible.]

Hey.

[He looks her over briefly, but she seems alright. Not that he was worried or anything. He frowns slightly as he glances to the rest of the town.]

It's not a dream, is it.

[Nill squeezes the bag a little tighter and shakes her head. No, not a dream. Or if it was, they were having the same dream at the same time, which didn't seem possible.]

[Even though Haine seemed very upset, Nill couldn't help but feel a little glad that she wasn't alone in this place anymore. And even stranger was the fact that Haine now had wings like she did.]

[She circles him a little, looking at the wings as though to make sure they were actually attached. It looks it... Nill looks up at him, worried by how he's reacting to all of this. With Haine's arrival, it's become pretty clear that Luceti isn't a place for people like Nill--it's a place where people have wings put on them and Nill just happened to come predisposed to life here.]

[Another sigh escapes as he tries to put things together. They're nowhere near the city, that much is obvious. But who would want to kidnap them and take them this far?]

They were there when I woke up. It doesn't hurt.

[He isn't sure if she's looking for reassurance or just an explanation that he doesn't have, but he shrugs his shoulders. It's not like he's lying. They ache like a bitch, but mostly it just feels weird. Especially the way they twitch and move without really thinking about it.

The whole thing reminds him far too much of his own past. The abrupt arrival, new parts, the memories of anything inbetween nothing but an empty black void... it's enough to make him want to tear the damn things out with his own two hands.]

Are the others here?

[It doesn't sound like the man actually intended to make all that audible to the world, but he seems new. Perhaps he needs to know.]

It's called Luceti. Don't be surprised if you've never heard of it before; none of us have before we're brought here.

[There's a sudden fumbling followed by several expletives as Haine kicks the book and approaches it a moment later. He wasn't exactly expecting the thing to start talking to him.]

That Italian or something?

So where the hell is it? And just how the fuck did we get here?

[She just sounds confused there, but shrugs it off and moves on to the second part of the question since it seems a bit more important.]

Nobody really seems to know, I'm afraid. Everyone just... wakes up here. And as far as I've heard nobody has found a way home.

[He gets close enough to pry the book open and give it a cursory glance.]

Italy. It's a country. [He sighs.]

[He skims the guide for a few seconds before he gets bored.]

I'm not here for a tour lady. I just want the first train out of here. Preferably with my clothes and guns back.

[Ash was walking toward the forest, Pokemon outside of their balls, when he spots Heine.]

Ah! Geez! Almost didn't see ya there!

[Okay, so it's not a dream, he's just on a really really bad trip. Like... pink elephants on parade kind of bad trip.]

What the hell are those?

[He brushes himself off and stands, wings already bristling. Next thing he knows, giant purple dinosaurs and bears in big blue houses are going to pop out and start singing or something.]

Of course they are.

[Though he knows better than to underestimate a twelve year old, the explanation leaves a lot to be desired. He crosses his arms, looking fairly unimpressed by the animal mascots.]

And? What are they, some kind of animatronics? Muppets? You guys going to start singing the ABCs next?

[Chi was prancing about, minding her own business, when she runs into your leg. I blame you being nearly identical to the snow.]

Mya!? Wha-? [She sniffs your leg curiously....wait a minute you smell just like...]

B-B-B-B-BOW-WOW!!! EEEEEK!

[And there's a cat freaking out next to his leg. At least it isn't talking, he assures himself, adding that what he heard is just a cat with a really stupid-sounding meow and there is no way in hell it just said bow-wow.

He watches it for a second, then barks right back, tongue hanging childishly out of his mouth.]

[Holy shit, the cat did just talk. He's dumbstruck for a second or two. Nothing here is going to make sense today, is it.

He falls into a crouch, looking the cat over with something much more like curiosity and a good deal less threatening than before.]

I'm not going to eat you. How the hell are you talking?
