Ah, the clothes thing makes sense now o.o But there's something that doesn't make sense yet. Empire!England saw Alfred's body, didn't he? It had way more scars than it should...that's how he knew he wasn't the America he was supposed to be...

Anyways, this chapter sure brings a lot of explanations. I really wanted to believe it was time travel, awww xD
